Hi, I'm
Valeriia.

engineer · builder of silly and real things · just a human being

Glad you found this :)

I keep my work and personal life in the same place, and you get to read whatever you feel like. Just my take, but in this social media era we kind of all try to look like someone else and stay a bit guarded, and you never really see what's behind the smiley LinkedIn photo and the 3-page résumé.

We're not in Severance though. This is real life, where work and life balance each other out. Or don't. So you get both.

  1. Ukrainian, living in Sweden.
  2. In tech since 2019. Started in frontend, grew into fullstack, now build mobile apps for a living.
  3. Into smooth, fun, engaging UX and digital products that solve real problems.
  4. Co-ran an English school for IT specialists in Ukraine for 4 years. Grew it from 0 to 100+ regular students and built its brand. Loved it.

I believe women in business and tech shouldn't feel like they have to act like a man to belong. If you're naturally more masculine, great. If you're not, also great. I just believe being different is what moves things forward.
